Got rejected at the recruiter screening. Apparently, my answers weren't exactly what the recruiter was looking for. It felt like they had a script and expected specific keywords, and if you missed them, you were out. The recruiter seemed rushed and didn't explain the next steps clearly.
After I got shortlisted, the recruiter sent a very detailed email about the whole process and quickly set up a call, which left me with a very good impression. However, during the call, she came across as somewhat rude. When I asked about her experience there and what she liked about it, she said: “I like that people here are direct and don’t try to fill the silence.” Which, to me, felt like she was implying I talked too much. Needless to say, I got a rejection email the following day, bullet dodged.
after the AI Recruiter selection with a video call, there was also a video call with the hiring manager (I didn't get that far). All in all, a clear process and also good feedback from the recruiter.
