Started with an online application via Linkedin and messaging on the website. Then scheduled appointments and had an interview via Zoom. Was told about the next steps. More interviews are scheduled over the phone and with interviewers. It seems like there will be about 5-6 more steps.
It started off seeming organized: first interview with recruiter was pleasant. General questions about motivation, interests and shared an overview of selection process. Second stage with engineering manager was very unpleasant. Rude/offensive posture with condescending tone in every question. Seemed like they did not want to be there and a decision was made before first question was asked. After almost 2 weeks, recruiter is radio silence. Does not respond emails asking for feedback. Inconsiderate and disrespectful. Negative culture.
Had a first phone interview with HR. They were very serious and not very nice. I was rejected. HR asked if I wanted feedback but never replied after I sent 5 emails asking for it. If you won't share feedback, don't offer it.
