The process started with a recruiter check-in, followed by a fit interview with a team member, and then a technical interview with two team members before an offer was extended. The whole thing took about 1-2 months, and the recruiter was easy to reach.
The process took about two months and felt like I was being kept as a backup option, which is what happened in the end. I had a screening call pretty quickly, then several rounds with the hiring manager and a team member. After that, I met with the XFN team, then senior leadership, and finally an executive for a 'culture fit' call. It felt really long and they asked similar questions over and over.
The interview process went smoothly. The main issue was the lack of honest feedback. After the round interview, I felt I was much better than my potential manager at Adyen. I was expecting rejection because I felt she might see me as a threat if I joined. I was rejected as expected.
