Got rejected at the recruiter screening. Apparently, my answers weren't exactly what the recruiter was looking for. It felt like they had a script and expected specific keywords, and if you missed them, you were out. The recruiter seemed rushed and didn't explain the next steps clearly.
So the first step is a call with HR to align on experience and expectations, then an online coding assessment on Hackerrank. I think you need to answer everything perfectly to go to the next step.
The HR was really quick with emails and I got to the final technical interview. But then, the HR went silent on updates. After I nudged them, I found out I was rejected. It's like, if you pass, they're fast with the good news, but if you don't, you get ghosted unless you reach out. I get it, but it'd be cooler if they just let you know you didn't make it, instead of leaving you hanging.
