The hiring process was in four stages: first, a recruiter screen, then a chat about cultural fit to see if you're a good match, next a technical interview to test your skills, and finally a last round for a final decision.
The process was okay. I was rejected during the technical team interview because my profile wasn't a good match. They were looking for more data engineering experience and less infra background, even though I have experience in data engineering and MLOps.
Went through 6 rounds: Recruiter talk, culture fit, Hackerrank challenge, technical discussion, team lead interview, and finally a director interview. All stages seemed to go well with positive feedback, but then the Director decided I wasn't positive enough and cut me from the process within half an hour. It's typical of a tech company that thinks the American way is the only way and gives you an extra kick when you're down. They praise directness but don't actually value it. My advice to future candidates: keep smiling.
