Adyen Content Marketer interviews, decoded.

First, I had a couple of calls with the recruiter and hiring manager. Then, I was asked to complete a case study where I had to come up with a campaign concept and write some parts of it for a made-up trade show. This was a lot of work that I did for free. After submitting it, I got a generic rejection email. It felt like a lot of uncompensated, speculative work with little acknowledgment.

I had a screening interview that got rescheduled three times. Then I met with the hiring manager, who was great and asked relevant questions. After that, they sent over a case study, which involved creating a content plan, writing a blog post, and designing a few OOH ads. The plan was to present the case study, but the links in the document were broken, and nobody could help me access them. I'm not sure why. The interview was cancelled, and I was told it would be rescheduled while they figured things out, but I never heard back.

I went through an interview, and after I asked about the possibility of remote work, even just partially, I was cut from consideration without any reason given. So, heads up about this company.
