It was a quick process. I had 3 panel interview sessions where I was asked five behavioral questions. It was a good interview. They gave me a day-to-day synopsis of the role, which was helpful. The job is eligible for telework, but you'll need to come into the office 10 days a month.

I was invited for an interview less than a week out, and even though they knew I was abroad, they interviewed me first. The questions were standard, and I thought it went well. I didn't get the job, just a generic email saying they picked someone else, no feedback. I found this disrespectful, especially since I traveled for the interview at my own expense. They could have given me more time to plan travel, but they didn't seem to care since I was paying. The whole process took over 2 months for just one interview stage, which felt too long. It felt like the recruitment was all about them and poorly managed.

The interviewers were really nice and asked simple fit/behavioral questions. It was different from other finance interviews because everyone seemed genuinely interested in their work and was incredibly smart, which was a bit intimidating. While it might not be super technical, these people mean business, so don't embarrass yourself by being unprepared for behavioral/fit questions. I ended up choosing another opportunity because it paid more and had a better chance of RTO, but if energy is your focus or you don't have a finance background, I can't imagine many places are better to start.

I applied through CareerBuilder and the agent there asked me a few behavioral questions. Then she told me she'd refer me to GE and asked me to do a writing assessment where I had to answer three more behavioral questions and fill out an application on GE's site. GE called me for a webcam interview with HR. The email said I might do a face-to-face if that went well, but I was surprised to get a phone call with an offer instead of a face-to-face interview. The questions were behavioral and customer service focused, not really about GE, but they did ask about my resume experience. It was quick and straightforward. If you're not ready for a behavioral question, ask for a moment to think instead of saying something silly. Treat a digital interview like a face-to-face one and wear a suit.
