Had a phone interview first, then went in-person to meet the team leader, then met the department manager, and finally had another phone interview with the HR Manager. The whole thing took 3 weeks. Most of the questions were about my background and how I'd be a good fit for GE. They asked a lot of questions like 'What have you done in the past that prepares you for your new role?' and 'Take your past and apply it to what you think you would encounter in this new role.'

Applied and got scheduled for an on-campus interview. When I arrived, the interviewer apologized because the originally scheduled interviewer was double-booked. The interview consisted of very standard behavioral questions. By the end, I was informed about numerous sales positions opening at GE Capital, suggesting a decision might have been made prior to my interview. About 6 months later, I received an email stating I didn't get the position. The overall interview experience was polite and friendly.

Had a phone chat with the Assistant Controller. It went pretty well, but at the end, she mentioned that I don't have direct SEC reporting experience. I do have experience with preparing Q-Schedules, which are related to 10k/Q reporting, but she said that to be directly involved with SEC reporting, you'd need to be at an executive level, the person who signs the forms.
