HR reached out and scheduled an interview. I met with the team leader who asked about my past work and how I'd handle different scenarios. They said they'd provide feedback soon, but I never heard back.

Behavioral Other

I applied through CareerBuilder and the agent there asked me a few behavioral questions. Then she told me she'd refer me to GE and asked me to do a writing assessment where I had to answer three more behavioral questions and fill out an application on GE's site. GE called me for a webcam interview with HR. The email said I might do a face-to-face if that went well, but I was surprised to get a phone call with an offer instead of a face-to-face interview. The questions were behavioral and customer service focused, not really about GE, but they did ask about my resume experience. It was quick and straightforward. If you're not ready for a behavioral question, ask for a moment to think instead of saying something silly. Treat a digital interview like a face-to-face one and wear a suit.

Behavioral Technical Group

I spoke with a group of people for the interview, including the hiring manager, someone I would work with one-on-one, and the FP&A manager, plus a peer. Each person had a slightly different take on how I'd engage with other departments, my own team, and also work by myself.
