There were two interviews. The first one was with the manager (your future boss) and a senior manager. They mostly asked technical questions, like 'what's the excel command for a Vlookup.' They also asked behavioral questions like 'what would you do if....' and 'describe a situation when....' You should also expect questions about your past experiences. They also ask questions to check your personality to see if you'd fit well with the team. There's an extensive background check that takes about a week. The second interview was more casual, with the manager (your future boss) and his right-hand person. They talked about the company culture and team structure, giving you an idea of the role.

Behavioral Technical

GE recruits from many major schools where alumni come from. It starts with a meet & greet at the career fair. The next step is an on-campus interview. If invited, you'll have an office interview. During the office interview, you'll meet current Analysts, all the managers, and the HR Manager and SVP. The Chicago office isn't fancy but it works for us.

The interview process was tough and competitive. Make sure you do your homework. First, I interviewed on campus. Then a few weeks later, I was invited for a full day of interviews at the company. I met with 3 people one-on-one.
