So after submitting my resume, the first thing was a HireVue interview. Then I had to do this online personality test and logic assessment. After that, there was a virtual business scenario thing with recruiters, both solo and in a group. They wanted to know how I figured out the strategy and what info I used. The next step was a virtual one-on-one with two recruiters. They asked general questions about my college and leadership background, and a lot about why TJX specifically, to see if I knew my stuff and was serious. They also brought up the business scenario again, asking how I decided on my strategy and if I'd do anything different now.

It was a waste of time. First, you have an interview with HR, who is usually very helpful and friendly. Then, they make you waste an entire afternoon for a very long interview of 1 hour and a half with questions you've often already answered during the first one. Then, they reject practically everyone without providing feedback (which is very disrespectful since they make you go to the location 3 times for their long interviews) and after a few months, they reopen the position. I don't consider it a serious company.

We had an Assessment Centre Day at Watford HQ. First, I had to complete an allocation task based on pre-work. Then, there was an hour-long 1-1 interview with two assessors. After that, I got to chat with other grads and check out the offices. Lunch followed, and then I presented my allocation task to 2 different assessors, which took 30 minutes. We finished with a group task involving teams of 6 people.

It was a 1-2-1 with the manager. They asked me competency-based questions and some about the business like why I want to work there and what I know about it. You really need to have done your homework. They also want you to look into TK Maxx and HomeSense and figure out how they are different from other retailers.
