It was a long interview process. I got a verbal offer but then they said they hired someone with a bit more experience. I thought that was unprofessional.

I got recommended for this marketing analyst role by someone internal. First, I had a 30-minute phone chat with HR, who asked me standard situational questions and went through my resume. It was pretty friendly. Then, a couple of weeks later, I was invited for an in-person interview with three interviewers. Since they were running late, the whole thing took about two hours. Everyone was super nice during the interview, but after I followed up, I heard nothing back. I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism, especially since I'm well-qualified.

I went through a few interview rounds at TJX. The last one was in person with two senior managers and lasted over an hour. They seemed to be looking for someone who's not just skilled in merchandising but also can handle a demanding job, as they asked about my experience and my personality.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Given that there's often a lot of work pressure and everyone needs to pitch in and work extra hours, would you be comfortable with that?
