I seemed totally qualified at first. The first two interviewers thought I was ideal. But then, this one producer who doesn't bring in new business, can't answer insurance questions, and admits he's bad at admin stuff, picked someone less qualified. Seriously, companies need to fire these lazy producers who just coast on existing clients. They don't want good new people because it makes them look bad, and the company loses out while they get paid for doing basically nothing. He didn't even conduct a real interview.

This was a college placement interview with 3 rounds in total. The first round was online, and the subsequent two were face-to-face. It was pretty easy to crack, they didn't probe too much, just needed to be confident and know what I was saying. It's a beginner-friendly role with good future prospects.
