First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marsh.
Administrative
What a mess! 4 rounds of interviews and then ghosted. If they ghost you after a panel interview, imagine working there. Waste of time and energy. Disappointed in their process and communication. Dodged a bullet.
- Can you introduce yourself and discuss your previous roles and what you can contribute to Marsh?
Administrative Assistant
I spoke with HR first for a preliminary chat, then I met with my direct manager. After that, I had an interview with the VP. I got the offer after that last interview. They also do a criminal background check, ask for references, and verify my degree with the university.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- Describe a situation where you had to manage several responsibilities at once.
- How do you go about organizing your tasks?
Executive Assistant
The interview process was a bit confusing, with 3 rounds. First, a telephonic round where HR asked about my PI and work experience. Then, a face-to-face round where HR went through my CV again and gave me tests: an email writing test (formal letter based on a scenario) and a presentation task (modifying a given PowerPoint for a conference). Finally, they called me for a round with the Director or Reporting Head, but it turned out the Director didn't need an EA.
- HR asked about your PI and work experience during the telephonic round.
- HR asked you to take them through your CV during the face-to-face round.
- You were asked to write a formal letter as per a given scenario.
