Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Marsh.
IT Project Manager
The interview process was super smooth and a great candidate experience. I got scheduled through their internal Workday app for an in-person interview at their Avenue of Americas office. I also got a meeting invite for it.

Project Manager
I applied online in Feb 2020 and was contacted by the internal recruiter a few weeks later. After they reviewed my resume, they set up a Zoom interview with the programme manager in the US. The questions were typical PM questions, not too hard or unusual. Then, I had two more interviews with senior managers in the US. These questions were also standard, and it felt more like a casual chat than an interview. After that, I was completely ignored with no response or feedback from the recruiter. I finally got a response after emailing them on LinkedIn weeks later, after ignored emails and calls. I was told the role was on hold. The lack of basic communication and feedback from Marsh & McLennan made me realize I wouldn't want to work there.
- How would you keep stakeholders updated on project progress?
Project Manager
It started with a call with HR to see if I was a good cultural fit. Then I interviewed with the Program Director where we discussed my experience and career aspirations, and they asked some competency questions. Finally, I interviewed with the Head of Change, which involved a 10-minute walkthrough of my CV and a prepared slide deck presentation about a time I brought order from chaos in a role. All interviews were quite thorough and ran over an hour.
