Assistant Manager
the interview process is simple. there are 3 rounds. 1. technical round where they check your technical knowledge and subject matter expertise. Mine was super smooth. 2. General level, where they get to know you and give you a generic idea of what the company does. 3. Interview with Global level officer, which is technical and general, depending on the situation.
- They asked me about privacy, checking my knowledge in that area.
Management Associate
I was approached for an interview at Marsh Insurance Broker (Malaysia) after initial contact from their talent acquisition team in the Philippines & Singapore. The interviewers were the CEO and Deputy CEO of Marsh Malaysia. The interview felt more like a discussion than a formal one. The questions were quite basic, drawing directly from my own experiences or resume, covering technical and competency aspects related to risk management and insurance in the region, and my motivation for applying. They also mentioned some trick questions to gauge my integrity and loyalty.
- How would you contribute to Marsh & McLennan Companies?
- Can you handle high-tiered clients?
- How do you perform under pressure, and manage and delegate responsibilities?
Manager
I found the job through various channels like Glassdoor, Indeed, Linkedin, Google searches, or word of mouth. Then, I connected with people at the company before applying on their website. A recruiter reached out via email to set up a phone interview. The recruiter I spoke with was friendly. They then sent more questions about my profile and asked for a detailed list of my previous managers and their phone numbers early on. After that, I moved on to an in-person, on-site interview. This involved a group interview in a conference room, though this might change due to the pandemic.
