So, a recruiter reached out about a remote opportunity for one of their clients. I chatted with the recruiter, who then connected me with the company. Turns out the job they talked about on the phone and the JD I got didn't quite match up. I tried asking about the differences, but I didn't get any solid answers. I had my first interview with the hiring manager, and it became clear I was actually overqualified for the role.

So first there was HR, then a screening, and after that an interview with two members of the team. They also had me do a personality assessment. The screening was 20 minutes, the interview was 30 mins, and the test was 30 mins. It was a very swift process, things moved quickly once it started, although it took a while to receive first contact since the initial application.

I went through 3 interview rounds for the Sales Operations Specialist role at Iqvia, including an onsite visit for the final one. While the interviews themselves went well, the company unfortunately went silent afterward. I had to follow up twice regarding my application status, around the time they said they'd get back to me, but I never heard anything. It's been over a month, and still no response. It's really important for companies to let candidates know if they didn't get the job instead of just ghosting them.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Worst interview process ever, avoid. Had a good initial HR/hiring manager chat. The assignment was too much though. They only gave 3 days to complete a report, presentation, and evaluation on a 300-page dossier, even though I mentioned a business trip. Got good feedback and moved to the final interview. The hiring manager was nice, but the others were arrogant and ruthless, constantly trying to undermine me. It wasn't a 'good cop/bad cop' thing. They took 15 days to give a final answer, longer than the promised week. HR said they needed someone more senior with direct experience, which is weird since they had my CV and knew my background all along. They wasted my time and energy when they already knew they wanted someone else from the start.
