I applied to IQVIA last fall. The recruiters were really nice and things moved fast initially. They gave me a verbal offer and wanted me to start the following month. However, they kept pushing back my start date each week. After over two months past the original offer, they finally told me the project was canceled. It was really disappointing that the job didn't work out, but the recruiters were so good that I'd consider applying again.

I was first reached out to by a recruiting agency. After I said I was interested in the role, the hiring manager called me for a phone interview. It went fine, and then I was asked to fill out an application and do a phone assessment through DDI. I've been in Pharma for a while and done many interviews, but never had to do a phone assessment before. It was a bit of a surprise, especially since it's a contract role. A few days after finishing the assessment, the hiring manager called me again for an in-person interview. This time, both the hiring manager and a manager from the Pharma company were there. I'm usually good with the 5 Star method, but some of the questions felt random and unrealistic. They also seemed to contradict themselves a lot, making me think they weren't sure what they wanted or had different ideas that didn't align. I wrapped up the interview and asked about next steps. The hiring manager (Quintiles) said that if I didn't hear back by Monday, they would have moved on. I didn't hear anything, so I moved on too.

I worked on two Quintiles contracts. For the first one, it was for an expansion and the DMs were hiring for teams of 8-10. I interviewed with the DM and another DM for a different district for a 2-hour interview. We talked about my resume, asked STAR questions and I had to detail and close with a product marketing piece. The second contract was very different. I met with the Quintiles manager, then had two meetings with the company's manager, and then flew to headquarters for an interview with the regional manager and also did a field ride.
