Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IQVIA.
Management Trainee
The interview process was good and fast. They made it feel more like a friendly conversation than an interview, which made it easy to feel comfortable. Just make sure to be confident and have a smiling face when you answer questions and know everything that you put on your resume.
- What are your career aspirations for the next three years?
Manager
Funny and mismanaged company I had an interview with and got selected. Submitted all documents. Later the offered salary was only 2% more than my current company, so I obviously rejected their offer. However, it cost me 3 rounds of interviews, each an hour long on weekdays. Such a waste of time. The HR team is clearly mismanaged and very irresponsible. Even though they knew my salary expectations, they scheduled rounds and wasted my time. Am very tempted to name names but it would be unprofessional, plus it's not one or two people to blame, it's a whole team that's mismanaged. Also, one thing I noticed about the HR team at IQVIA, they are all very naive. People with BTech backgrounds work as HR at IQVIA, a funny company.

Data Manager
I had to go through their agency first. Then we set up a telephone interview. The agent gave me a quick prep for it. The interview itself went on for a few hours with two managers on the call. It was pretty standard.
- Can you elaborate on the therapeutic studies?
- How would you manage a difficult client?
- What are some instances where you've worked effectively on your own?
