First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HUB International.
Senior Director
I had a casual chat with someone I already knew from the Hub Financial Services team, and I was thrilled when they asked if I'd consider joining. We then scheduled a meeting with the hiring manager, which was a joint Zoom call, followed by a one-on-one Zoom with just the hiring manager. I sent over my resume, and we arranged for an in-person visit to Dallas to get a feel for the operation and meet more of the team. I spent the whole day meeting people, seeing how things operate, and learning about the business. It felt really open and positive.

Account Executive
The whole thing was online and really smooth. First, a recruiter chatted with me about my history and the job. Then, I had a video chat with the hiring manager, talking about my background, how I build client relationships, and what I know about insurance. The last part was a video panel with some of the team, asking me stuff about how I deal with tough situations and work with people. They kept me in the loop and it felt pretty professional but friendly.

Technical Support Associate
The interview process at HUB International was wonderful. Unlike other companies that required multiple interviews, I had one virtual interview with two managers who were friendly, kind and informative. They explained the job role and expectations and asked the normal questions regarding my qualifications and transferable skills. I also appreciated the opportunities they provided for me to ask questions throughout the interview. A definite positive experience!!
- Do you have any questions about the responsibilities listed in the job posting?
Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked questions related to the industry and they actually provide feedback on the same day. They really seem to be focused on how you can contribute to their profitability.
- How would you approach inter-departmental communication?
