Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HUB International.
Account Manager
The interview process at Hub was organized and professional. It kicked off with a chat about my background and experience. Then, I had interviews with team members where we talked about the role and what the day-to-day would be like. The interviews were conversational but covered everything, and they communicated clearly the whole time. Overall, it was a positive experience that gave me a good sense of the role and the company culture.
- How would you handle prioritizing numerous client requests while upholding high standards for service and communication?
Account Manager
After applying, I got a prompt response. While I didn't get the first role, the Hiring Team passed my application to another department. Both interview processes started similarly. The hiring managers I spoke with were informative. They wanted to ensure I understood the expectations and were happy to answer my questions.
- What do your colleagues think of your personality?
- Describe how you handle challenging or high-pressure circumstances.
- Tell me about a significant achievement and the steps you took to reach it.
Commercial Account Manager
It's not really about how hard the interview was, but there were 3 rounds of interviews. The manager just ghosted me and I never got a rejection email or any response to my emails. Really unprofessional way to treat someone.
- Can you describe how you would handle a difficult person in a work setting?
