Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HUB International.
Senior Recruiter
This was a really well-organized and smooth interview process. It was thorough and thoughtful, and I felt like I genuinely got to connect with the team. I learned a lot about the company culture and left feeling really good about the job.
- Can you share an example of a process you transformed and the strategic actions you took to achieve those improvements?
Recruiter
It was a multi-step interview process that included both virtual and in-person meetings. The process wasn't very clear. The interviewer mentioned that hiring for the role has been difficult, but it seemed like they hadn't made any changes to improve the situation.
- Can you tell me about your current req load?
Talent Acquisition Partner
I went through two interviews. The first one was with the Director of TA, and the second was with the Director of People. Both interviews were conversational. I didn't feel intimidated or nervous at all. It was always a challenge for me being on the other side as a recruiter with years of experience. They made me feel comfortable enough to be myself. It was a straightforward dialogue about my overall experience and what I can contribute to the role, with no unnecessary talk.
- Can you describe how you manage your daily tasks and set your priorities?
