I got to the interview early and was greeted and asked to wait until called. Manager Bonnie and Associate Coy interviewed me for an hour. They asked me questions about my work/life balance and if my location would be a problem. They also explained the expectations for the role and the position they are trying to fill, along with what I would need to learn to keep my knowledge up-to-date over time.

Behavioral

After applying online, I got a quick phone chat with the team leader at Hub international and they set up an in-office interview for the next week. When I got there, the team leader introduced me to the manager, and they both interviewed me. It was pretty relaxed, they offered me a drink and we just talked. I felt good about it. A week later, I hadn't heard back, so I went to the branch to check in. As soon as the team leader saw me, she was happy I came by and offered me the job on the spot.

Behavioral Technical Case

It included a phone interview and then two in-person interviews. They mentioned they're open to training, but it felt like they really wanted someone with at least 5 years of brokerage experience and a pre-existing client network. The office is pretty male-dominated. It seems the sales team and the hiring team have different priorities and aren't aligned.
