I had a screening interview first. After passing that, I had a panel interview over Teams. The third interview was in-person at the location I wanted to work. Later, I was told I was being considered for an associate role and then rejected two weeks later. It felt like a waste of time since they seemed to have already decided. It was also demeaning to apply for one position, then be considered for a lower one, and then get rejected.

The interview process started with a phone interview that felt pretty standard. They asked typical interview questions about my background, strengths, and interest in the role. They said I'd hear back in a few days either way, but then I never got any follow-up, which was a bummer. So, the interview itself was fine, but the lack of response after made the whole thing feel negative.

First I spoke with the recruiter, who was really nice and knew a lot about GMF, she's been there 9 years and seemed to really like her job. Then I got moved pretty quickly to the next stage, which is an hour-long interview with the AVP. They let me know what to expect and gave me some tips on how to get ready for it. I haven't had this interview yet, but I'm getting ready for it. It sounds like it's going to be pretty in-depth and cover a lot of ground.
