Behavioral Technical

Started with a recruiter call with HR, it was smooth and they were very professional. Then had a 1-hour technical interview with a team member who asked about my relevant tech experience and some basic, relevant questions. After that, there was another 1-hour technical interview with someone who isn't on the team but has been with the company for a long time. This interviewer had very scripted questions, and I wasn't sure what they were trying to get at. Their questions were more about checking my familiarity with terms and definitions. I didn't really connect with this third interviewer. All the tech interviewers were PhD level.

Behavioral Technical Technical

I applied online and heard back from a recruiter the next day. After that initial chat, I had three interviews. The first two were hour-long talks with senior engineers where we discussed my resume, past work, and some technical stuff about Python and AI agents. Those were pretty good. But the third interview was the worst. It was supposed to be a 30-minute call with their GenAI team lead. She was late and said she wanted me to feel comfortable, but it didn't feel like that at all. When I couldn't answer a question about AI cybersecurity, she got really cold and told me I shouldn't have applied if I didn't know that. The rest of the interview was her criticizing my qualifications instead of asking questions. She told me to 'watch YouTube' or 'ask AI' when I tried to ask questions. I tried to stay patient, but it felt more like being humiliated than interviewed. I don't think anyone should be treated like that, and it left a bad impression. I wouldn't want to work on that team with her as the lead.

Behavioral

I applied on 15/12/2025 through the website. The next day, a recruiter emailed to set up a call for the day after. This call was pretty chill, letting me talk about myself, my experience, and why I wanted the job and company. It went well, so the recruiter set up a video call with someone more senior for 18/12/2025. But on the 18th, a few hours before, the call got cancelled because the person was sick. The recruiter said they'd reschedule, but it's now 20/01/2026 and I haven't heard anything, even after two follow-ups. The job's been posted again on LinkedIn. The recruiter seemed eager to hire quickly, and things moved fast, so it's weird that I'm being ignored. This whole thing gave me a bad impression of the company and their hiring process.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The interview process involved two rounds, each about 35–40 minutes long. It was supposed to be a Technical round then a Technical + HR round, but for me, both were technical. We started with introductions, then I had to give a quick overview of a project. After that, I had to show my GitHub and go through the whole codebase, explaining the project's structure, why I made certain choices, and how the main parts worked. The interviewer asked detailed questions about how I built it and even asked me to code some things right there, based on what was already there. This checked if I knew my project well and could code. Then, we went over basic ECE stuff to see if my fundamentals were solid. They also gave me a straightforward DSA question, like adding two numbers, to check my basic problem-solving. I got to ask questions at the end. The second interview was pretty much the same.
