Software Engineer
So the process was pretty simple, it was dsa qts, full resume questions and about projects. The interview experience happened in Tenkasi on Dec 20, 2025 and it was done in a single day, in-person. First was the Initial Screening (Aptitude + Java). This round went on for 1 hr 15 mins. It had 10 aptitude questions (no options) and 20 Java questions. The Java questions were on OOP concepts, predicting output, and finding missing lines of code. Around 80 people started, and 17 got shortlisted for the next round.
- Could you tell me about the projects listed on your resume?

This interview experience felt really disorganized and rude from the get-go. I got asked on Friday for an interview the very next day, super last minute. The interviewer, Kranti, didn't even turn his camera on, but expected me to, which felt rude and impersonal. He kept cutting me off when I was explaining my project, like over 10 times in the first 20 mins, sometimes right in the middle of a sentence. It was hard to tell if he was taking notes or just not listening. Some of the interruptions felt more like random comments than actual questions. It made it impossible to explain coherently. Then, out of nowhere, he wanted a Swiggy HLD. During the requirements, I was cut off right away and just told to 'make a replica of Swiggy.' As I started drawing and talking through my ideas, he interrupted again, criticizing me for not having a service that I was literally in the middle of explaining. It was aggressive and impatient, not really a good way to have a technical discussion or a fair chance to show what I know. The last part felt like a rapid-fire checklist: name all microservice patterns, Java design patterns, and SOLID principles, with no real discussion. It felt more like an interrogation than a chance to show problem-solving or design skills. I stuck it out because I'm professional, but the whole vibe and tone made me question the team's culture. Just sharing this feedback hoping it helps make things better for future candidates, because this was a really bad first impression of both the interviewer and the company.
- My tip is that the company's interview process seems to have a toxic and disorganized structure. You should avoid it if possible.

I was contacted by email, and then had a phone screen with a recruiter a few days later. The first technical phone interview was a few weeks after that, and then there were two more. They were going to fly me out for an onsite, but instead I had to drive to another site for a video conference interview. That interview was a lot more relaxed than the others. During the video conference, I talked to four people: one lady for an hour and three engineers. I got an offer about three weeks later. They didn't offer relocation, so I had to negotiate that. The whole thing took over three months from the first contact.
