Behavioral

I interviewed at GE Vernova’s Oslo office, but the experience was disappointing. After spending two hours in their office, I never heard back, despite multiple follow-ups with HR and senior managers. As a candidate, I believe time and effort should be respected. This lack of communication felt unprofessional and left a very poor impression.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a recruiter phone screen where they asked basic questions about my experience and interests. Then, I moved to a video interview with the hiring manager and two other managers, which was scheduled three weeks out but only confirmed the day before, requiring multiple follow-ups with the recruiter. The interview itself covered experience and technical/quality process questions. The hiring manager offered me the role a week later with a base salary of 105k, no relocation, sign-on bonus, or shares, and I was expected to cover my own moving expenses to New York. When I said that wasn't feasible with the low pay, they spoke to HR and increased the base to 110k, but I declined because they wouldn't negotiate further on pay.
