Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I interviewed for the Technology Consultant position at Dynatrace, and the process had three main stages: First interview (recruiter): It was an initial conversation focused on my professional experience, my studies, and confirming if my profile fit the role. Second interview (technical): I spoke with someone from the technical area, who asked basic questions about computer science and networking concepts. The goal was to verify that I understood the fundamentals and could explain them clearly. Third interview (final stage with presentation): This part was longer. First, I had several individual interviews with different team members, each asking about my skills and how I work with clients. Then they gave me a practical case and I had to prepare a short presentation. Finally, I shared it with a group of interviewers, showing how I would organize recommendations and communicate solutions to a client.

Behavioral Technical Coding

So I went through the whole thing, recruiter and hiring manager both said it was fully remote, then got dinged at the end cause of my location even though they said I did great. Took about a month. Started with a quick recruiter chat, then a 1-hour chat with the hiring manager and the team's lead engineer, which had some easy tech questions. After that, a 2-hour technical session with two engineers, including live coding and some Q&A, which actually finished early. I thought that was it, but they wanted me to meet a director in Gdansk for an hour. That meeting was short, like 20-30 mins, mostly about how often I could come to the Gdansk office. I was like maybe every 3 months, and they agreed to that, and I said I'd come for company events too. But then, despite them saying it was remote and the team being in different offices, I got a rejection call saying location was the issue.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard. I first chatted with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and after that, I met with some of my future coworkers from different teams. Everyone I talked to was sharp, thoughtful, and really nice, making the conversations enjoyable. The main issue was getting updates from the recruiter; I often had to chase them down to find out who I'd be speaking with next or when I'd hear back, sometimes needing to follow up three times. After all the interviews, I just waited, and never got any feedback. I only found out I didn't get the job because the listing was removed from the website. This was months ago, but it was a pretty awful experience being completely ghosted by a recruiter, which I've never encountered before.

Behavioral Presentation

This was a long and tough interview process, around 8 steps. It included a recruiter screen, two rounds with the hiring manager, a call with the regional director, then the VP, followed by a panel presentation with the regional director, VP, and hiring manager. After that, there was another VP call and finally a call with the Sr Director. The panel part was really challenging. My advice is to take it super seriously and get help if you need it. Prepare like you would for a real customer meeting. Actually do some discovery, don't just go in and dump info. The recruiter mentioned two other candidates made it to the panel but didn't get through.
