First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CA Technologies.
Sales Advisor
They ask you some questions about how much you know about selling. The interview is a group one. After that, they have each person introduce themselves to talk about their experiences or studies. Then, a few weeks later, when the position opens up, they'll call you.
- What is your work experience and education?
- What is your method for selling?
Call Center Representative
First interview was a virtual group interview. They told us there was only an opening for the night shift from 9 PM to midnight, and it was in person. Afterwards, I started looking on Google Maps for reviews and everyone said you always have to compensate for days missed due to illness or studying, and that they also don't meet payment deadlines.
- Tell me about yourself, your experience in other places, your skills, etc.
IT Specialist
I applied online and then a recruiter gave me a call to screen me. My first interview was a video chat with the hiring manager to talk about my background and skills. Then, I had another interview with a group of people, and they gave me a technical test. The last part was an interview with some of the senior leaders to see if I'd fit in with the company culture. The whole thing took about 3 weeks, and everyone was really nice and professional.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What motivates your interest in working with us?
- Can you share an instance of a workplace challenge you encountered and describe how you navigated it?
Sales Representative
The interview seemed rushed and unenthusiastic. I arrived and the place looked nice, but the interviewer was clearly uninterested and in a hurry. I honestly didn't feel comfortable. It was one of the most negative interview experiences I've had. It's a waste of time and money for travel.
- What hours are you available?
- What salary are you looking for?
- How far do you live from here?
