I applied online and got an interview request in under a week. They sent me a video interview to do within 48 hours, which was super tight. It had about 8-9 video questions, some needing 3-4 minutes to answer fully, like 'describe a situation when...'. The platform said I could redo videos, but I couldn't, which was annoying. Luckily I prepared well for the first video. The countdown timer was set to 48 hours, but after about 24 hours, it changed to an extra 72 hours. I was confused and emailed the contact person, who took another 48 hours to reply. I thought it was a system error, so I submitted what I had. Then I heard nothing back until July, which felt like a pointless rejection email sent way too late. I won't apply there again.

A contract recruiter reached out to me to start things off with a phone screen. During that call, they dug into my past two roles. After that, I got the green light for an in-person interview, which was set up pretty quickly, just two business days later. The in-person was quite the gauntlet with nine people. Most of them were folks I'd be working alongside, but the chat with my direct manager was just one-on-one. The other interviews were in pairs. The questions were pretty high-level, thinking about market trends and challenges.

Pretty standard interview process. It kicked off with a recruiter call to get a better sense of the role and confirm I was a good initial fit. This was followed by a call with the hiring manager where we discussed my background, skills, and how I've handled specific work challenges. After that, I moved on to 1:1 interviews with team members, including the group VP, to dive into specific areas. The final step was supposed to be an onsite, but the team decided to skip it and go straight to an offer.
