Project Manager
The first interview lasted an hour. It wasn't long enough to really get into the details of how diverse and complex your organisation is, and what the role needs. But I felt we had good talks, and I connected well with the hiring managers during the interview and in the follow-up chats. I'd read lots of good stuff about CA Technologies on glassdoor.com.au, like how they offer 'flexible working'. So, it was a bit of a letdown that the hiring manager didn't even bring up flexible working options, especially since I was the top choice. CA is big on digital tech and Agile, which is cool, but it feels like management is still stuck in the past, looking down on part-time workers instead of really getting with the times and what employees need now. Part-time doesn't mean part-brain! Loads of skilled people need flex work but are still ambitious and want real career jobs without having to take a step back. It's a bummer you're missing out on this talent.

Project Manager
I applied on the company website and got contacted by the recruiter for a first screening. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. The week after that, I had three more interviews: one with a program manager and two with project managers from the team. Two weeks later, I followed up with the recruiter, and he mentioned they were still deciding. I haven't heard back from CA since, not even an email saying someone else got the job.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Project Manager
So the whole process was pretty well put together. I had 4 interviews total - 3 were phone calls and the last one was on-site. After each stage, the HR person would reach out within a few hours to let me know how I did and what was next. Their emails were also super fast and professional.
- The questions weren't too hard; they were pretty standard.
