Technical Writer
I sent my resume after a career fair and a recruiter recommended me. About a week later, I got a call for a phone interview. After that, I had three more 30-minute interviews spread over four weeks. Finally, I received an email and a phone call with an offer.
- Tell me about a problem you faced that you couldn't solve initially, and how you managed to resolve it in the end.
Technical Writer
I had a phone call with the group VP who already knew about me from other managers at the company. She was keen to hire me. Then I had informational interviews with my senior manager and my direct manager.
- Were there any trick questions?
Technical Writer
Had a phone screen, then another phone interview. After that, I did an in-person interview with one staff member and the hiring manager. Then there was a second in-person interview with only the director. Not sure if the two interviews was a scheduling issue or not.
