Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CA Technologies.
Intern
The transition into the workforce was very smooth. No technical skills were needed for the interview. I really liked how it went, and the interviewers made it easy to talk to them and were very thoughtful with their answers to my questions.
- Tell me about a time you experienced adversity.
Intern
This was a video interview that you could take whenever you wanted, and it took about an hour, depending on how well you prepared your answers. There were 8 questions, but half were just basic questions about your authorization and if you could work in their specific location.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Have you used any database software before?
- Tell me about a successful project or experience you had and explain why it was successful.
Intern
I sent in my resume, then did this Montage thing where they asked like 5 questions and I had to video record myself answering. Then there was one last interview after they checked out my video answers. They give you 2 minutes to answer each question, and you get some time to prep before you record your answers.
- What are your strengths and areas for improvement?
- Describe your technology experience.
