Software Engineer Intern
The interview process started with a recruiter call, then went into a technical interview. The technical part had some C# specific questions, like asking about the meaning of "using", and also database design questions, specifically asking how to design a relational database for students, classes, and registration.
- Can you explain the meaning of "using" in C#?
- Describe how you would design a relational database for students, classes, and registration.
Logistics Representative
CH Robinson's hiring process usually starts with a quick chat with HR. After that, you'll likely have one or two interviews with managers that focus on your skills. They want to see how good you are at analyzing things, understand the supply chain, how you communicate, if you fit the team, and how you solve problems. For some jobs, you might also need to do a case study or a situational test before they make a final decision.
- What salary range are you looking for?
Key Account Manager
The interview process with C.H. Robinson was pretty structured and professional. There were a bunch of rounds where they asked both behavioral and technical questions, which gave me a chance to show my skills and how I solve problems. The recruiters were easy to talk to and kept me in the loop. They really focused on whether I'd fit the company culture, so it felt personal but still tough. Overall, it was a good experience if you were ready to prove you knew your stuff.
- Can you share an instance where you used data analysis to resolve an issue? What steps did you take, and what was the result?
Operations Coordinator
I was sent a link to schedule a phone interview and I did so. I also emailed my resume to the recruiter as requested. The day before my interview, they asked to reschedule for 2 days later, which I agreed to. On the original interview date, I got an automated reminder and emailed the recruiter to confirm the new time, but got no response. On the rescheduled date, the interviewer never called. I checked the job listing and it was gone. It's unprofessional to not let candidates know if the position is filled.
