The process was kinda messy. Some interviewers were late, and some didn’t even show up at all. They asked the same questions multiple times across different interviews. The video interview apparently wasn't even shared with the people who were supposed to interview me, or at least that's what the sales training director told me during the interview.

The interview process started with an assessment test that was pretty easy. Then, there were three one-hour face-to-face interviews that they did all at once, taking up my whole day. After that, they told me I got selected and we talked about the compensation. They then sent an email for document verification, which I completed and sent back. I didn't hear anything for a week, so I reached out, and they said an offer letter would be coming in a few days. The following week, they called to say I wasn't a good fit after all and that the position was already filled. This was a terrible hiring experience.

I really liked interviewing at Blackbaud. Even if I didn't get the job, I'd still feel the same way. The interviewers were nice and made me feel comfortable. The questions weren't super technical but more about if I could learn and do the job. Having experience helps but they care more about your potential and attitude. It was a good and encouraging process with a professional and supportive panel.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

The interview process started with a brief 15-minute HR phone call focusing on my resume and role details. This was followed by a 1-hour virtual technical interview with two senior engineers, which included a coding challenge. The final round had two parts: a 1-hour reverse technical interview with senior engineers where they demonstrated their tools and I asked questions, and a 1-hour behavioral interview with managers, featuring brainteasers and typical behavioral questions. Most people were friendly and I appreciated the time to ask questions. However, HR communication could have been better, with delays in responses and needing to inquire about next steps. The final rejection email was also a generic automated message, which was a bit disappointing.
