First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blackbaud.
Intern
The interview process started with an online video interview that primarily focused on general questions about my motivation for working there. Following this, I received an email inviting me to a final round. However, after attempting to schedule a time for this final interview, I received no further communication. It would have been appreciated to at least get a message indicating they had decided against proceeding.
- What makes you want to be employed at Blackbaud?
Intern
I applied for an internal audit summer intern position at Blackbaud through my college's career services website. About two weeks later, HR contacted me for an online interview where I had to record a 2-minute response to a given question using my webcam. A few days after that, HR called me for a 30-minute phone interview with one of the auditors. It was a casual conversation about the internship experience, with no behavioral questions or case studies. The next week, I interviewed with the Director of Internal Audit. I got an offer the day after that.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
It was a good experience. The interviewer was very calm and gradually increased the difficulty of the interview questions. First, they asked some algorithm questions related to problem-solving and provided a few coding challenges. Then, they moved on to OOPS Design patterns, presenting a scenario and asking for my approach to solve it.
- Questions about Object-oriented design patterns were asked.
