Behavioral Technical Presentation

Started with a recruiter screen and then a call with the hiring manager, which was good. She was engaging, asked good questions, and was direct. Then I had to submit work samples. A week later, I had a call with the director, but my WiFi was bad and I didn't know the video had stalled until the end. The whole thing took over 3 months. After the last call, I heard nothing back, which was unprofessional and disappointing given the job market and time spent.

Behavioral

The interview process was disorganized and slow. The recruiting team took over a week to respond after they said they would. They assumed I was applying for one location and ended the process without asking me why I applied for where the role was. The recruiter didn't seem to know what their practice did. I ended up giving up on the process.

The interview took about 30 minutes and was led by the audit manager and general manager. They were quite friendly and I didn't feel intimidated at all during the process. The conversation focused more on personal questions, like how I'd handle tight deadlines, my transportation for meeting clients, and my reasons for choosing Baker Tilly and a career in audit.
