I got recruited through my university and was told that I could intern between my junior and senior year even if I wasn't going to have 150 credit hours at graduation. I went through the entire dinner and interviewing process to find out that they weren't going to seriously consider me for that same reason. They said they would let me know within two weeks, but I never heard back. I was excited to work for them, but now I'm just disappointed and will most likely not apply again when I actually am in my penultimate year.

I first had a phone interview with a campus recruiter who was really friendly and knew a lot. They asked me about my background and school stuff. Later that day, I got an email to schedule my next interview at their office. When I got there, they paid for my parking. I started by meeting the campus recruiter again, and she showed me around the office. Then, I talked with a partner and a manager about my past jobs and why I'd be a good fit for their audit team. After that, I had coffee with two people who currently work there, and they told me all about the job and were really honest, which was helpful. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

I had a phone interview with the campus recruiter, and then a follow-up phone interview with the senior manager. It was about three weeks after the second interview that I finally heard back from the company. Most of our communication happened via email. I'd suggest asking a lot of questions during your interview because they really want to help you out and make sure everything is clear.
