Behavioral Case Presentation

Recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. First, I had a call with the hiring manager and a teammate, followed by a final case study. I told the recruiter my salary expectations and that I was planning to move to another country. The recruiter contacted me 30 minutes before the final case study and said they could offer the 25k I requested. I decided to do the final interview to be professional, even though I wasn't motivated due to the significant salary cut. A week later, the recruiter contacted me again, saying they could offer 15k more. I accepted the offer, but then she admitted it was a typo. The recruiter was incompetent and wasted my time. Overall the experience was nice, but the recruiter should be fired for being so unprofessional.

Behavioral Presentation Technical

The interview process was pretty quick. First, I had a call with HR to talk about my experience, availability, and what I'm looking for. Then, I met with design leads and presented my work. They focused on my thought process, problem-solving skills, how I handle resources, and teamwork, rather than just the visuals. It felt like a good conversation where I could explain what mattered to me. They also explained what the day-to-day would be like, making it a real dialogue. The last interview was with future colleagues, a PM and engineering leads. This one was more laid-back, mostly discussing workflows and how to handle difficult or conflict situations. I also learned a lot about their working methods, so I felt well-prepared for what to expect. Getting the decision didn't take long either. HR did get in touch to ask for a few more days, which helped manage the waiting period. So far, the positive impressions from the interviews have held up.

Coding Behavioral

I applied for a role that was advertised as a Senior Frontend Engineer. In my initial chats with HR, I talked about my salary expectations, but then they said the budget was actually lower and that it was more of a mid-senior type of role. I stuck with it though because I was still interested. The technical interview itself was pretty good and the interviewers were professional. But the live coding part felt more like something for a junior-to-mid level role, not senior. When I asked, the interviewers confirmed it was mid-level and that the mix-up came from HR, not the tech team. It was clear then that the job wasn't what was advertised, so I decided to stop. The interviewers were nice and communicative, but the whole thing was a letdown because the job level didn't match what they said at first. It would be better if they were clearer about the role scope and seniority from the beginning so people know if it's a good fit and don't waste time.

Behavioral Case Presentation

Went through 3 rounds, first a telephone interview, then a chat with the Recruitment Manager, and finally a panel interview that included a case study. It felt very formal, not much rapport. The HR person was not sympathetic at all. The business case they gave was too short to really show what you could do. Some obscure questions came up and one of the interviewers seemed unprepared. They said a decision would be made in two days after the panel, but it took a week and they didn't even let me know. I wouldn't recommend this company.
