Customer Success Manager
I went through an interview for a Scale CSM role in March 2025 and it started off well - the recruiter was nice and asked good questions about my past. After that, I got a take-home assignment with a 48-hour deadline, which I finished and sent back on time. But after that, things went quiet. My follow-up email was ignored, and 12 days later, I got a basic rejection email with no reason. I asked for feedback since I put time into the assignment, but still no reply. I know not every job works out, but the silence and lack of feedback felt rude and disappointing, especially since I prepared a custom presentation.
- What's your strategy for managing a large portfolio?
- Can you describe how you handle scaled portfolio management?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process went really smoothly. The recruiter was super helpful, always available to answer my questions and quick to move things along. The onsite interviews were also a breeze. I chatted with some team members, my potential manager, and the VP of the department. Everyone was really down-to-earth and open about their experiences and roles at Wrike. I felt like I got a solid understanding of the job just from our conversations. They were great about answering all my questions, which I really appreciated.
- Can you share some examples of customer interactions, detailing how you managed both successful and challenging situations?
Customer Success Manager
I was first contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn who then scheduled a Zoom interview with me. Following that, I was invited to complete an assessment which involved both a cognitive test (UCAT) and a psychometric test. They provided some practice mock tests beforehand, but honestly, they weren't enough if you aren't super quick during the actual test (it had 40 questions in 20 minutes, and you needed at least 25 correct answers to pass). The psychometric test felt a little invasive, asking personal things like sleep issues or if my friends are doing well (?). Unfortunately, I didn't pass the UCAT, so my hiring process ended there.
- What makes you want to move on from your present role?
- Could you describe your proficiency in French?
