Project Manager
Applied online and got an interview request within a week. The interview process was long with different parts, but the recruiter was very helpful. Here's the breakdown: 1. Recruiter call - Expect a 30-40 minute phone call where they'll ask about your background and your interest in the company. 2. Hiring Manager call - You'll meet 2-3 team members. They'll ask more about your background and projects, and explain the role and why it's open, giving you insight into daily tasks. 3. Demo Interview - This is a crucial round. You'll need to prepare and present a demo based on a Salesforce scenario provided by the company, along with any supporting documents. Expect 3-4 interviewers who will actively participate and ask many scenario-related questions. 4. Cultural Interview - A relaxed round, like a normal work meeting. You'll meet 4-5 team members. If you reach this stage, you'll likely enjoy it. An offer will follow if you're a good fit. My thoughts - Big thanks to the recruiter, Anandi, who was awesome. Even though my demo round had a hiccup and I had to redo it, she supported me. I appreciated their focus on company culture during the interviews, so check their website. I'd suggest making your demo as realistic as possible, assigning roles like customer, manager, engineer, etc.
- Can you tell us about your previous roles and the projects you've worked on?
- Follow-up questions based on your presentation during the demo.
- Do you have questions about your personality that show you're a good fit for the company culture?
Data Specialist
The hiring process was great. I had an initial phone call with the Talent Acquisition Partner. For the next step, I was given some dummy data and had to prepare a presentation to demo how I would integrate it into a new Salesforce org. That went really well! Within two days, I was invited for a culture interview, which was excellent – no awkward conversations, just a good vibe for understanding the work culture. After that, they asked for references and conducted a background check, and then I received an offer letter.
- Tell me about yourself and your experience.
- Can you write SQL queries to analyze the provided dummy data?
- How would you approach integrating this data into a new Salesforce organization?
Business Analyst
The interview process was a little lengthy; first a phone interview that was more of a getting to know you, then I got a request for a demo interview after 2 weeks. I had a week to prepare for the demo and put a lot of effort into it, and when I presented it, I got really great feedback. The next day, I got an email from the hiring manager to schedule the culture interview, which was my favorite part, it was super chill and a lot of laughter. Later that day, I got an email for background check and references. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
- What were your thoughts on the business case presented?
Partner Manager
I had a phone screening with a recruiter first, then a video chat with the hiring managers. After that, I had a demo interview that involved a significant assignment that took about a week of work. I then had a reference check, and was supposed to have a cultural interview, but I didn't get to that stage. My demo presentation went really well and they gave me positive feedback immediately, saying I'd hear back the next day. I didn't, so I followed up a few days later and they asked for my references. I had to follow up again about a week later to ask for a status update, letting them know I was progressing in other interviews and wanted to know their timeline. They just said they appreciated my patience and then I never heard back. My references confirmed they were contacted, but Traction never contacted me again. I was pretty disappointed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy to let me know they decided not to move forward. It's frustrating to get that far, have things go so well, and have references checked, only to be ghosted.
- Tell me about your background and what your career ambitions are.
- Let's have an informal chat about the position and your thoughts on the vision for this role.
- For your demo interview, please prepare and present a Product Solutions Presentation and a Partnerships Strategy Recommendation.
