Data Specialist
The hiring process was great. I had an initial phone call with the Talent Acquisition Partner. For the next step, I was given some dummy data and had to prepare a presentation to demo how I would integrate it into a new Salesforce org. That went really well! Within two days, I was invited for a culture interview, which was excellent – no awkward conversations, just a good vibe for understanding the work culture. After that, they asked for references and conducted a background check, and then I received an offer letter.
- Tell me about yourself and your experience.
- Can you write SQL queries to analyze the provided dummy data?
- How would you approach integrating this data into a new Salesforce organization?
Data Specialist
The interview process was quite unique and non-traditional, focusing on getting to know me as a person and the skills I could bring to the team, while also showing they cared about me. The recruiter, Tapas, was excellent – very transparent and responsive. I found the difficulty to be easy because they made the hiring process smooth and quick. However, you do need to prepare to demonstrate your qualifications. Depending on the role, a take-home assignment is given, followed by a presentation, to assess your skills.
- What are your aspirations for the future?
Data Specialist
The HR guy ghosted me after the second technical interview. In that interview, I presented my salesforce org and SQL solution, which took about 50 hours of my time. Even though he asked if I wanted feedback, he ghosted me right after that, and I've asked for feedback twice since.
- Can you explain what an 'External ID' is in Salesforce and how it is utilized?
