First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Traction on Demand.
Business Solutions Consultant
The interview experience was pretty great, interviewers were patient and kind. First, a quick 15-20 min call with the recruiter to check relevant experience and skillset. Then, a 30-45 min interview with the line manager and team, more of a conversation about past experiences and how you handle situations. Next, an hour-long demo interview to understand Sf skills and business pain points. Lastly, a 30 min informal and chill chat with the team to see if you'd be a good fit with the company culture.
- The demo interview was a bit technical, but they are not looking for technical skills as much as business and communication skills.
Business Solutions Consultant
I applied online and got an email to schedule a phone interview. I ended up booking it a couple of weeks out due to availability. The Talent Acquisition Specialist was supposed to call me on a Thursday, but emailed a bit before to reschedule for later that day or the next. I had to email her back later that night to get a time. The next morning, a different TA Specialist called unexpectedly, and because I was busy, we rescheduled for a few hours later. The call itself was pretty casual and friendly. About two weeks after that, I emailed the first TA Specialist to check on my application status. Apparently, the second TA Specialist didn't think I was a good fit, saying, “I had connected with her and I believe that after the call she wasn’t entirely sure that you were best suited to this position.” The whole thing took about a month. I really liked the company's values and mission, but I guess it wasn't a match.

Consultant
I was contacted by an external recruiter about my interest in the role. Then, I had a video call with the hiring manager and Traction’s HR. The manager was on time, but HR was 15 minutes late. The manager spent most of the time trying to reach HR instead of discussing the role with me. The questions were straightforward. They said they would respond in 3 days, but I haven't heard back in 4 weeks, so I assume it's a no. I find it unprofessional that they emphasize culture but don't put much effort into recruiting.
- Could you answer some general Salesforce questions?
