Scheduling the interview was a bit of a hassle, but I managed to get a slot a week out. It felt like they were interviewing tons of people. The interview itself was around 30 minutes, with someone who didn't seem to have a typical HR or tech background. The conversation focused on my interest in the company and my CRM experience. While the questions were pretty standard, the interviewer didn't seem very engaged, rarely asking follow-up questions and sometimes appearing distracted. He mentioned I'd hear back in a few days. Unsurprisingly, I got the standard 'not a good fit' message. It seems like a very subjective process – if they like you, you're in. I've asked for some feedback, but I'm still waiting for something concrete.

The first interview was pretty chill. If you get past that, the second interview involves setting up a Salesforce instance. Then, you'll do a demo based on a customer situation. If the demo goes well, you'll have a Culture interview with some team members to see if you're a good fit. If that's good, they'll make you an offer.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • During the demo phase, how did you respond to questions that were not part of the demo's scope, simulating how you'd handle customer curveballs?

It was 4 rounds of interviews: 1. Intro chat 2. Culture fit with Regional VPs 3. Demo and Sales Presentation 4. Informal chat with several employees to get a sense for what type of person you are. The hardest part was building the Salesforce Demo, but it's worth it if you put in the effort. Talking to the Talent Manager was helpful to understand expectations and how to build the demo and presentation. Overall it was a good experience, they really focused on cultural fit, and it was nice that it wasn't a sales interview where you had to state your past performance figures.
