I applied at the end of February and it took about a week to get a phone screening. Very basic questions. They seemed to focus on customer service and what I knew about insurance in general and what an underwriter was. After that it took about two weeks and I was invited to two separate teams interviews. Both were very similarly for me the questions were mainly about how to handle administrator task. The interviewer’s were friendly and welcoming. The following week I was offered the positions

Case Behavioral Technical

So, I had a few interviews with The Hartford. They're pretty technical, more so than other insurance places I've been to. First, there was a recruiter call, then I had 3 interviews. One was a case study type thing, where they gave me 25 minutes to look at some data and tell them what I thought and what they should do. Another interview was with a director who asked about my past work. The last interview was also with a director, and they threw some random questions at me, like some math stuff and also behavioral questions.

Don’t bother applying for this role. It has come up 3 times in the past 2 years and they have continually reposted it. They will give you the runaround that although you have above and beyond the requirements for the role including developed relationships with the agencies this role covers that you are not a fit and to try again the following year, I did this after 3 interviews and multiple correspondences. Per their advice I applied again and didn’t even get to the 2nd step in the process. Clearly they are looking for a specific type of candidate only and are not actually interested in this role being available to the entire candidate pool.

So I had 3 interviews in total. It started with a video chat with the recruiter where they asked me some basic stuff about my past and what I've done. Then, I had a second interview with two managers. This one was more in-depth about my background and experience, and they hit me with a few STAR questions. That was a week after the first interview. On the very same day as that second interview, the recruiter emailed me for a final interview the next day. The final interview was with the hiring manager, and it was pretty much the same as the one before, just them double-checking my experience and knowledge. They offered me the job the day after that, which I accepted. But then, a week later, after I filled out the background check stuff and confirmed I was let go from my last job because we had to move for my wife's job, I got a call like 10 minutes later. The recruiter said they were taking back the offer and couldn't give me a reason why. Super disappointing, and it really sucked they wouldn't explain it.
