Intern
So the first step is a 30-minute phone screening with the Talent Manager. They'll ask you some basic behavioral questions using the STAR method and also want you to talk about your resume and projects. After that, there's a technical interview, probably an hour long, which might also include a behavioral component, conducted over Microsoft Teams.
- Could you tell me more about the projects you've worked on?
Intern
I had high hopes for this interview, but the interviewer was late. The interview felt rushed. I was told I'd hear back in a couple of weeks via email or phone call, but it's been almost 4 months with no response. While I'd heard good things about the company, this experience made me question it. They should at least inform candidates of a decision within 3 weeks.
- What are some basic questions you've been asked?
- Can you discuss some of your past projects?
Intern
My internship advisor passed along my resume, and I heard back in three days. Then, a recruiter set up a 30-minute phone call. They asked a bunch of situational questions and about what I've been up to in school. After that, I got an email for an onsite interview. It was with two team members and lasted about 45 minutes. They seemed really keen on learning about my previous experience, even if it wasn't directly related to the role. We mostly chatted back and forth about my past work and school stuff rather than them asking a ton of questions. It wasn't a tough interview, and the vibe was super friendly and welcoming.
- Can you tell me about a specific job listed on your resume?
- What are your career aspirations in the next five years?
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
