Don’t bother applying for this role. It has come up 3 times in the past 2 years and they have continually reposted it. They will give you the runaround that although you have above and beyond the requirements for the role including developed relationships with the agencies this role covers that you are not a fit and to try again the following year, I did this after 3 interviews and multiple correspondences. Per their advice I applied again and didn’t even get to the 2nd step in the process. Clearly they are looking for a specific type of candidate only and are not actually interested in this role being available to the entire candidate pool.

This interview process was top-notch. The follow-up was great, and they covered all the bases. My calls and emails were answered right away, and they were flexible with my schedule. The recruiter was prompt with the paperwork, and HR called exactly when we planned for the phone interviews. When I arrived at the interview site, the two interviewers were welcoming, responsive, and treated me well. It was a refreshing change from other interview experiences. Even though The Hartford wasn't the highest offer I received, the people I met during the process were the deciding factor in accepting their employment offer. Big kudos to The Hartford!

So first you have a pre-interview with HR, they usually go over the job and you take a personality test. Then you meet the direct manager and assistant manager, it's usually a 2-on-1 interview. After that, you meet with the next level manager, like the RVP, for a 1-on-1 to get their feedback. If that goes well, it's usually a formality and they'll offer you the job. The whole process is pretty long, but if the right job isn't open but they like you, they'll keep you in mind and let you know. I was interviewed in September but was their second choice, and they called me back in April of the next year.
