So I got this email from the recruiter, right? For a phone interview. It was pretty standard, we just talked about the job and all that. She was really nice. Then at the end, she asked me to come in for another interview at the office. I was getting emails throughout the whole thing, which I thought was pretty cool, like they're really organized. The in-person interview email said I'd meet with one person, but it ended up being two. They asked me stuff about my skills and my personality to see if I'd be a good fit. I got to ask them questions too, said my thanks, and asked about when I'd hear back.

It was a really long and annoying interview process. I had five technical interviews over video. Then, they had me come into the office weeks later, but the person I was supposed to meet wasn't even there. I ended up interviewing with two other people. The hiring manager reached out over the next few weeks with good news, but said they were still talking to other people. I eventually got an automated rejection email. The whole thing took about two months. I emailed the hiring manager to thank him and asked him to keep me in mind, which he said he would. Then, they posted the same job again a week later.

I interviewed with three regional sales managers first, then I had a chat with a director. They all asked good questions, not too hard, you just gotta have some confidence and charm. Basically, they want to know you're motivated by money and helping the planet. Showing excitement about the product and asking about what makes other reps successful, or what to avoid, is key. Be charismatic and enthusiastic.

Applied online for a job on LinkedIn, and after 4 weeks, a recruiter called to schedule a phone screen to discuss my resume qualifications. The recruiter then set up interviews with managers for a different role than the one I applied for, without fully disclosing it. The actual job role became clear during the interview, but I completed it as I figured I was likely qualified. I was told they'd reach out after interviewing all candidates. Later, I received an email via Workday stating the role I applied for was filled.
