I first applied through their careers website and got a call the next day for an informal phone interview to schedule an in-person interview. The in-person interview started with a group of applicants where the ROM Reg Office Manager gave a presentation about the company and the position. Then he took applicants one by one for single interviews. Afterward, another manager conducted a basic hands-on interview using tools. They said they would call, and I received a job offer call on the 3rd business day after the interview.

I got a call from a recruiter who asked me a few questions. Then, they set up an interview. It started with a group session where we watched a video about SolarCity. After that, we all introduced ourselves and talked about our experience. Then, we were split into two groups. One group went in for an oral interview, one by one. The other group went to the garage for a hands-on skills test, where we had to identify tools and different types of roof coverings. The oral interview part was mostly about me, what I know about SolarCity, how I can help the company, and general construction questions, especially about roofs.

Things moved really fast after I applied, they called me the very next day and I had my interview after 3 days. The interview was pretty laid-back, not stressful at all, and the people were great. They did a quick presentation about the company and the job, then showed us around the warehouse, and after that, we were interviewed individually.
