We had a phone screening first with portfolio and asset managers. They asked me practical questions, and I answered everything about the role. The second stage was a 30-minute meeting on Teams. They asked about my experience, team management, and building management skills.

Applied online in September, then did some online tests. After that, had a video interview and an Excel test. In January, there was an assessment centre with group tasks, where I had to do an email writing task. Then, I had a presentation prepared from the group task, followed by a final interview and a modelling test on a separate day. After that, it was the final offer/onboarding.

Technical Coding

The recruitment process at Savills was incredibly disappointing. I had an HR interview on May 1st and then had to wait almost two weeks for any kind of update. After that, they sent me a technical test, which they said would take no more than 8 hours. I submitted it on time, but then waited another two weeks before they finally invited me to a face-to-face technical interview. I put a lot of effort into preparing for this interview, and I thought it went really well. But then, I was rejected based on the technical test I had submitted earlier. This feedback came *after* the technical interview, which just felt like a huge waste of everyone's time and energy. If the technical test wasn't good enough, they should have told me right away instead of making me do the next interview. The whole process felt really unclear, the communication was super slow, and honestly, it gave me a really bad impression of how much the company values candidates' time and effort.

Had an initial screening call with HR. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview at the head office in London. The interview was with the Executive Assistant from the Retail Investment team. It was quite informal, where they told me about the team, the number of people I'd be supporting, and the functions of the role. We had some general chit-chat. They mentioned HR would follow up, but I haven't heard back yet. The interview was a week ago.
